This recently renovated villa is directly on the ocean and the view is tremendous with sandy beach directly in front of the house. The local fishermen have their boats moored in front of the house which makes it easy if you want to go out to the reef for snorkeling, or to the Ile Bearnache for a BBQ lunch. The house is located in the little fishing village of Grand Gaube in the north east of Mauritius. Many people like Grand Gaube because of its typical Mauritian character and because of the low number of overseas visitors. There are small grocery stores, a post office, a restaurant and a medium sized hotel. All of these are within easy walking distance of the holiday houses and all of the things you need on a daily basis can be found there. Occasionally you will want to do shopping on a larger scale or will want to visit other restaurants. This can be achieved in Grand Bay which is only 15-20 minutes away by car.
